Backend developer pro novou aplikaci

We are looking for a backend developer for a newly built system for ordering and managing appointments (internal name “booking”) for a major international client in the automotive sector. The project is being built from scratch on a modern technology stack and will run in the cloud (AWS).

The work is remote, start possible immediately. The team is autonomous and without micromanagement.

We are looking for someone with the basics and a desire to grow; we can teach you event sourcing and CQRS, the important thing is interest and a solid foundation in Java.

• Ability to write code in Java.
• Basic experience with Spring Boot or other backend development in Java (can be a school project or a personal application).
• Understanding of the basics of working with relational databases / SQL.
• Communicative proficiency in Czech/Slovak at C1 and English at least B2 (for calls and documentation).
• Knowledge of cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure) is an advantage, not a requirement.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, message brokers (Kafka / SQS / SNS) or CQRS is a welcomed advantage, not a requirement.
• Willingness to ask questions, share ideas, work independently and in a team, and improve processes.

• Full remote option (team meetings in Prague – IBC Florenc, optional).
