DevOps Engineer (on-prem to AWS migration)

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a global fintech company. 

What you will do:

• Improve continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines through automation and DevOps best practices.
• Take ownership of deployments and validation.
• Continuously improve observability, monitoring, and alerting.
• Contribute to infrastructure migration and modernization.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions.

What you will need to have:

• Proficiency with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, or Harbor.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Strong skills in SQL, Oracle DB, and Liquibase.
• Proven expertise with Fortify, WIZ.io, WebInspect, or Sonatype Lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience with Linux and Bash scripting.
• Experience with Splunk and Dynatrace.

What would be great to have:

• Additional exposure to Java, Maven, and Spring Boot.
• Comfortable working with AWS and Terraform.
• Familiarity with ActiveMQ Artemis and Kafka.
• Experience with Renovate, Sealed Secrets, Istio, Cert Manager, or Venafi.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

This role requires working five days a week in the Bratislava office.
