Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join an international engineering team developing a large-scale, cloud-native digital platform used by millions of customers across Europe. This is a long-term, greenfield opportunity focused on end-to-end digital service delivery (customer requests, order management, installation tracking, and customer support).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across the full delivery lifecycle.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Automate deployments and configuration management.
• Support containerized applications running on Kubernetes (including OpenShift where applicable).
• Manage release processes and deployment automation.
• Integrate external partner systems and services.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and ensure high availability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance.
• Research and introduce new DevOps technologies and automation practices.
• Support development teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Create Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong Linux administration experience.
• Expert knowledge of Bash and/or Python scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Experience with Git and GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Experience with AWS or other public cloud platforms; familiarity with OpenStack.
• Working knowledge of Helm.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
• Experience with databases and messaging technologies: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Etcd, AMQ, WMQ.
• Experience with monitoring/logging and observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, Splunk, Jaeger.
• Solid understanding of networking and infrastructure security.
• Familiarity with security/networking tools: Keycloak, Vault, HAProxy, Nginx, Swagger, API Gateway.
• Good understanding of CI/CD principles and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• English at B2 level or higher.
• Nice to have: experience with SAFe, experience working in large Agile environments, API Management experience, knowledge of Keycloak or Vault, experience with OpenStack.
• Collaboration in an Agile setup using Jira and Confluence.
