Senior Business Analyst

For our client, a leading international FinTech company, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join cross-functional Agile engineering teams focused on OpenAPI and Data Streaming. The role bridges business vision and technical execution, supporting card-related payment products, API services, and real-time data streaming solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements & Analysis: Elicit, analyze, and document functional, non-functional, and domain requirements; prepare functional specifications, feasibility studies, and solution designs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate with internal business teams, external partners, suppliers, and card schemes (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Interface & Architecture Design: Participate in interface design aligned with platform architecture and established engineering standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Propose optimizations for component specifications, architectural standards, and operational processes to mitigate risks and address recurring issues.
• Operational Support: Analyze and support resolution of complex production and pre-production incidents within standard Incident & Problem Management frameworks.

Requirements

• Domain Experience: Proven experience analyzing and specifying requirements for banking, card processing, or FinTech systems.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Technical Background: Solid understanding of web services, APIs, and data structures including XML, XSD, and JSON; software development background is a strong advantage.
• Agile & Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to learn independently from technical documentation.
• Languages: Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English.
