Required technologies
Perform the role of a Middleware engineer for an application migration project, part of a data center migration program. The applications support payment card acceptance/acquiring and issuer processor business processes.
Critical business functions, including transaction authorization processes, are implemented in a three-tier application architecture. The Middleware layer is an extensive architecture that, in the context of a service migration project, requires support from an additional person.
The following technical qualifications are required to carry out Middleware project tasks:

• Rundeck / Ansible
The candidate will be expected to:
• Work closely with the FTS Application & Middleware Team while performing BAU tasks.
• Work closely with PMs driving subsequent actions to build, test, and migrate to new environments, including preparing and submitting infrastructure build/configuration/access requests and addressing blockers along the way
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems
• Monitor environments for performance and reliability,
• Produce high-quality, living documentation (using Confluence),
Individuals performing the services are expected to have the following characteristics:
• Recognize the challenges related to application migration from one data center to another
• Experience working in similar roles/projects (application migrations)
• Excellent communication skills; good written and spoken Polish and English; and the ability to work with a variety of SMEs from several countries and socialize the technical scope, challenges, and solutions among them
• Understanding of availability, performance, monitoring, and resilience aspects for near real-time online transaction systems and mass transaction processing systems
• Understanding of infrastructure aspects, network solutions, load balancing, TLS
• Responsibility: care for product quality, making and keeping commitments
• Cooperation: the ability to share knowledge and experience, find compromises, and build proper relationships within the local organization and across the corporation.
