General Description
We are looking for a senior test analyst for accounting systems and testing activities. The role includes test analysis and design, test preparation and execution, test data creation, defect analysis, and collaboration on their resolution.
The consultant will work as part of agile Scrum teams according to the one-team model and will effectively use artificial intelligence tools when analyzing and designing tests.
What will you be doing?
Your responsibilities will mainly include:
- analyzing requirements and tests and designing comprehensive test cases,
- preparing comprehensive test data and defining prerequisites for testing,
- estimating the effort required to prepare and execute tests,
- managing and importing test cases,
- performing integration, automated, and performance testing,
- analyzing defects and supporting their resolution,
- using JIRA and the Zephyr plugin to manage test cases and defects,
- collaborating with stakeholders in the delivery and testing areas,
- proactively collaborating in agile Scrum teams and providing work-effort estimates.
Requirements
We require:
- senior-level experience in testing accounting systems or participation in an accounting system replacement project,
- knowledge of accounting principles, the chart of accounts, account analysis, and accounting principles and rules,
- knowledge of banking products and financial and accounting areas,
- knowledge of Enterprise Architect and UML,
- experience with integration, automated, and performance testing,
- knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies,
- active command of English,
- ISTQB certification or knowledge corresponding to an advanced ISTQB level.
The following are an advantage:
- experience in testing banking applications,
- experience with logging tools,
- automation scripts in TypeScript and Python,
- knowledge of ReadyAPI, Bruno, Playwright, JMeter, PEK, Graylog, and Kibana,
- experience coordinating a small testing team.
Additional information
The consultant should be able to work based on the provided analysis and previous experience and effectively use artificial intelligence tools for test analysis and design.
