General Description
We are looking for a consultant to support testing activities for banking applications. The role includes preparing, executing and evaluating tests, creating test data and scenarios, and collaborating on defect analysis and resolution.
The consultant will work across waterfall and agile methodologies and independently collaborate with IT analysts, developers, solution and application architects, business analysts and international teams.
What will you be doing?
- Working with provided analyses and preparing effort estimates for advanced tasks.
- Managing test cases and imports in Jira and Zephyr.
- Managing and analyzing defects.
- Performing integration, automated and performance testing.
- Independently creating comprehensive test data and test scenarios.
- Defining test entry and exit criteria.
- Analyzing test results.
- Collaborating on defect resolution.
- Synthesizing available information and independently collaborating with other team roles and international teams.
- Testing may include branch applications, digital channels, back-office applications and other banking systems.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of testing banking applications and banking products, including knowledge of their purpose.
- ISTQB certification or knowledge equivalent to an advanced ISTQB level.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architect and UML.
- Knowledge of waterfall and agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience with Jira and the Zephyr plugin.
- Experience with SoapUI, ReadyAPI, Bruno, Selenium, Playwright and JMeter for test execution.
- Knowledge of logging tools such as PEK, Graylog and Kibana.
- Active knowledge of Oracle SQL.
- General knowledge of testing banking applications and banking products.
- Strong knowledge of the financial domain is an advantage.
- Experience with complex transformation projects focused on product migration is an advantage.
- Active knowledge of English and the ability to communicate independently with international teams.

The Tester will work in an environment of banking applications and systems that may support branch services, digital channels, back-office processes and other banking products.
