General Description
We are looking for an analyst to analyze and design banking services and their backend and frontend components. The role includes creating models in Enterprise Architect, designing APIs, the internal logic and functionality of services, and their integration with surrounding systems.
The analyst will work within an iterative delivery process that is not based exclusively on agile principles and will collaborate with developers, analysts, solution architects, testers, application managers, and other stakeholders.
What will you be doing?
- Design backend and frontend solutions based on requirements or solution screening.
- Model the implementation and logic of services, API design, mapping of surrounding APIs, and the logical design of databases in Enterprise Architect.
- Create models according to internal methodologies.
- Design DTO interfaces and describe service logic.
- Map services to databases and, where applicable, to other systems using SOAP/XML, REST/JSON, Kafka/JSON and Avro, or MQ/XML.
- Collaborate with colleagues within and outside the team, especially solution architects, analysts, developers, testers, the bank’s business units, and external suppliers.
- Provide support during testing.
The analyst will contribute to solutions in the following areas:
- A backend application managing the lifecycle of orders from branch frontend and client frontends for SME and CORP business clients, including the opening and cancellation of accounts, deposits, investments, payment cards, and other products.
- Verification of the proper signing of contractual documentation by the client and the bank, performance of eligibility checks, archiving of contractual documentation, and sending notifications to clients.
- A Java application in the Payments area for post-services related to existing payments, such as booked transactions, payment complaints, and SIM card top-ups with mobile operators.
- A Java application in the Products area for post-services related to existing products, such as accounts, payment cards, and credit cards.
Requirements
- Practical experience creating analyses; at least 5 years for a senior-level position.
- Analytical and logical thinking.
- Knowledge of UML.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Programming skills are an advantage.
- English language skills at least at a passive level.
- Creativity and a team-oriented approach.
- Reliability and proactivity.
- Knowledge of a banking or other corporate environment, ideally banking, is an advantage.
- At least basic knowledge of and practical experience with Enterprise Architect by Sparx Systems is an advantage.
About the customer
The environment consists of five teams made up of developers, analysts, solution architects, application managers, and application engineers. The analyst will also communicate with requesters, scrum masters, product owners, and project managers.
The systems support corporate banking, payments, accounts, deposits, investments, payment and credit cards, and related banking processes.
